ENCIRCLE Pouch WORKSHOP!
In other news, I’ve an ENCIRCLE Pouch workshop coming up in November! Come join me at Fabric Romance in their Galway HQ to sew up the ENCIRCLE Pouch - I’d love to see you there! The ENCIRCLE Pouch is such a satisfying project and I can wait to spend a crafty day sharing all the tips to successfully sew those sweet curves! Would it be wrong to suggest at this ridiculously early stage that it might be the perfect time for some Christmas/holiday gift sewing??

COSY Beginnings…
The first COSY was created initially as a gift for my 9 year old niece, a place for her to keep her precious little bits ‘n’ pieces. Soon after, in 2021, I submitted the pattern to MAKING magazine who featured it in their 2022 winter “GIFTS” edition. Since its release by me as a stand alone pattern in 2023 the COSYpouch has been one of my best selling patterns. A lovely beginner friendly project with the potential for a bit of colour-blocking and quilting fun.
All about the COSY…
The COSYpouch pattern is a simple set of drawstring pouches that was created to help us protect, treasure and celebrate the special items we hold dear.
It includes three sizes, small, medium and large, and three colour-blocking layouts; DIAGONAL, WAVE and CURVE, along with the option to keep it simple. This beginner level pattern is a delightful scrap buster and a super skill builder. The COSYpouch relies on the use of quilting, along with lofted interfacing or a couple of layers of cotton batting, to give some gentle structure to the finished pouch and has a bound finish to the top. Some quilting suggestions are provided - you can choose to follow the suggestions or go rogue!!
